What is puerh tea?

Puerh is the ancient name of a large administrative area in southern Yunnan Province. There are two distinct types of puerh tea, raw puerh and ripe puerh.

Freshly picked tea leaves are aged in a natural way after picking, without fermentation treatment as raw tea. Raw tea is stronger and more stimulating. Freshly made or aged raw tea has a strong tea taste and astringency, and the soup color is lighter or yellowish green. Raw puerh has a better weight loss effect, but it is more stimulating to the stomach. So it is not recommended to drink raw tea for a long time.

Ripe tea has a mild nature due to the fermentation of the pile during the production process. Does puerh tea have caffeine?

How to make puerh tea?

The amount of tea can be determined by personal taste, generally 3-5 grams of tea leaves, 150 ml of water is appropriate.
